Aulivis Privacy Policy

Scope and controller

This policy covers the Aulivis (“致学”) apps, related websites, cloud services, and supported web clients. The service provider and controller is Xiao Loong Liu.

For privacy questions or rights requests, email support@aulivis.com. Third-party platforms and institution systems remain subject to their own notices.

Information we process

Device permissions and local processing

Microphone, speech recognition, camera, photos, notifications, reminders/calendar, and Screen Time permissions are requested by the operating system only when a relevant feature needs them. Refusal affects only that feature.

• The system photo picker lets you choose specific images. Avatar photos are cropped, re-encoded, and stripped of original metadata on-device.
• Reminders and calendar access is used only to apply learning reminders you request.
• Apple Family Controls and Device Activity provide Screen Time authorization and presentation on-device; we do not receive raw usage details identifying other apps.
• Guest learning data is primarily local and may be lost if the App is removed or the device is unavailable.

Why we process information

We process information to perform our agreement with you, protect the service, comply with law, and—where required—based on your consent. Uses include operating learning tools and sync, performing AI or institution requests you initiate, validating purchases, supporting users, detecting abuse, and creating de-identified reliability measurements.

You can stop future consent-based processing by disabling a permission, disconnecting an institution, signing out, stopping use of the feature, or deleting your account.

Service providers and disclosure

We do not sell personal information. Minimum necessary information may be processed by Apple (sign-in, speech and purchases), hosting/database and Alibaba Cloud OSS providers (cloud data and files), AI model or inference gateway providers (tasks you initiate), institution systems you connect, and Cloudflare (this legal website and network security).

We require service providers acting for us to protect information consistently with this policy and applicable law. A merger or service transfer will be notified as required, and materially different processing purposes will require a new legal basis.

AI features

AI features do not automatically scan your entire knowledge base. Context is limited by the current task, granted resource scope, and stable resource identifiers. Proposed writes require confirmation where supported.

Outputs may be inaccurate or unsuitable and do not replace educators or professional advice. Do not submit another person’s data, confidential examinations, or content you are not authorized to process. You can continue using non-AI local features without AI.

Retention and deletion

• Local data remains until you delete it, clear App data, or remove the App.
• Account and synced content remains while your account is active or as needed to provide the feature. Deletion markers may be retained briefly to reach offline devices.
• Sessions expire or are revoked; security logs are retained only as long as needed for troubleshooting, abuse prevention, or legal responsibility.
• Account deletion removes online account, identity, device, session, consent, sync, AI usage, subscription entitlement, and asset metadata. Isolated object-storage or backup remnants await secure lifecycle replacement and are no longer available to the product.
• Minimal deletion audits or legally required transaction records may be retained separately.

Your privacy rights

Depending on local law, you may request access, a copy, correction, restriction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, account closure, or an explanation of our practices. Many controls are available directly in the App.

Email support@aulivis.com when in-product controls are unavailable. We verify only what is necessary and never ask for Apple or institution passwords or verification codes.

Children and minors

Aulivis is a learning tool and is not marketed to children. In mainland China, users under 14 should use account, sync, AI, or institution features only with parental or guardian consent. Elsewhere, users must meet the local age for independently consenting to data processing.

A guardian may contact us to review or delete information supplied without appropriate consent. We do not target advertising based on information about minors.

Security and international processing

Safeguards include HTTPS, Keychain credential storage, authenticated sessions, least privilege, short-lived object URLs, integrity checks, rate limits, and audits. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; we will mitigate and notify affected users when required.

Core services and object storage prioritize infrastructure available in mainland China. Apple, Cloudflare, AI providers, or connected institutions may process necessary information in their operating regions. We apply required contracts, assessments, certification, or separate consent where cross-border transfer rules apply.

Updates and contact

Material changes will be identified by version and effective date and presented through the App, website, or another prominent method. We will request renewed consent where required.
